App settings and controls

A practical guide to the main settings in Bliish: what each area controls and where to change it.

Short answer

Settings control your app style, language, sounds, display comfort, identity masking, notifications, account security, blocked accounts, and account changes.

App settings

The App section is personal to you. It includes language, app theme, app icon options when available, sounds, Rover, display controls, and identity masking. These choices change your own experience, not what other people see on your profile.

Account settings
Edit profile changes your public profile details and profile style.
Membership shows your current plan and supporter personalization options when available.
Blocked accounts, two-factor authentication, password changes, and email changes are in the Account area.
Delete account is permanent, so use it only after reviewing the account deletion article.
Comfort controls
Disable animations turns off app, profile, and group motion.
Disable filters hides theme filters across the app, profiles, groups, and articles.
App theme only shows your app theme instead of custom profile and group themes.
Mute sounds and Show Rover control sound effects and the helper character.

App theme, profile theme, and group theme

Your app theme changes what you see. Your profile theme changes your profile. A group theme changes that group for people who view it.

Notifications and activity

Use Settings to turn In-app, Email, and Push notifications on or off for each notification type.

Install the app

Use Get app from the menu or the install prompt to add Bliish to your home screen. On iPhone and iPad, use Share, then Add to Home Screen.
