App theme, profile theme, and group theme

App theme, profile theme, and group theme

Understand the difference between app theme, profile theme, and group theme on Bliish, including App theme only.

Short answer

Your app theme changes what you see. Your profile theme changes your profile. A group theme changes that group for people who view it.

App theme

Your app theme is your personal interface style. Change it in Settings when you want Bliish to look different for you while you browse.

Profile theme

Your profile theme is the style visitors see on your profile. Use it to make your own profile feel distinct without changing everyone else's app theme.

Group theme

A group theme belongs to a group. People who view that group can see the group's style, so it works best when it matches the group's identity or topic.

App theme only
Turn on App theme only if you prefer seeing your own app theme everywhere.
This hides custom profile and group themes for you, but it does not remove those themes for other people.

Custom themes and supporter options

Use theme controls for color, corners, fonts, filters, and animations. Some advanced personalization options are supporter-only.

Identity masking and display controls

Identity masking hides usernames and blurs user media while you browse. Display controls can also reduce motion, hide filters, or show only your app theme.

Join, create, and mute groups

Join groups to post in them, create groups for focused communities, and mute a group when you want less from it in your feed.
