Use groups for community posts

Use groups for community posts

How to use groups on Bliish for posts that should reach more than your friend circle.

Short answer

Groups are the community layer. Use the main group for general posts and smaller groups for topics, interests, or communities.

What groups are for

Groups are for shared spaces. The main group is a broad default, but it is not the only place to post. Smaller groups are often better when your post has a specific topic, audience, or community context.

Post in a group
1Open Groups and choose the group that fits your post.
2Write from the group page so the post is attached to that group.
3Publish there instead of posting the same update only on your profile.
Choose the right group
Use the main group for general questions, introductions, and broad community conversation.
Use topic groups when the post belongs to a specific interest or community.
If the post is only for friends, your profile or a wall is usually a better fit.

Where should I post on Bliish?

Post in a group when you want a community audience. Post on your profile when the update is mainly for friends.

Join, create, and mute groups

Join groups to post in them, create groups for focused communities, and mute a group when you want less from it in your feed.

Profile posts vs group posts

Profile posts are for friends. Group posts are for that group audience, so they are better when you want discussion beyond your profile.
