Walls and friend-only posts

How profile walls work on Bliish, who can post there, and why wall posts are different from group posts.

Short answer

Walls are friend-first spaces. You can post on a friend's wall, and profile walls are not meant for reaching everyone.

What a wall is

A wall is the profile conversation space for a person. It is useful for friend-to-friend messages, greetings, and profile activity, but it is not the place to reach the whole community.

Write on a wall
1Open a friend's profile.
2Use the wall composer on their profile.
3Post your message there if it belongs with that friend rather than a group.
Privacy expectations
You need to be friends before posting on someone's wall.
Only friends can view profile walls in normal use.
Use a group instead when you want a broader discussion.

Find and add friends

Friends matter because profile posts, walls, and Bliips are built around accepted friend connections.

Who can see my posts?

Profile and wall activity is friend-first. Group posts are shown to the group audience, so choose the group based on who should see it.

Profile posts vs group posts

Profile posts are for friends. Group posts are for that group audience, so they are better when you want discussion beyond your profile.
